Privacy & Website Technology
Cookie Notice
This notice explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on finbus.org.
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files or similar identifiers that a website or service may place or access on a device to support website functionality, remember preferences, improve security or measure usage. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels or other device identifiers.
2. Current Finbus website configuration
At launch, Finbus does not intentionally deploy non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing cookies on finbus.org. The current website does not include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels, newsletter tracking or behavioural advertising tools.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Our hosting, content-delivery, security or infrastructure providers may use technical measures that are necessary to deliver, protect or operate the website. These may include security identifiers, server logs or similar technologies. Necessary technologies are used only for purposes such as security, network stability, accessibility or core website functionality.
4. Cookie notice and consent
In line with GAID 2025, Finbus provides a conspicuous notice about the use of cookies or similar technologies. Strictly necessary technologies do not require an affirmative accept/reject choice where they are used only for core functionality and do not process sensitive, financial or privately stored data. If Finbus introduces non-essential cookies or similar tracking tools, visitors will be given a clear choice to accept or reject them before they are used, where required by applicable law.
5. Analytics and performance cookies
Finbus does not currently use analytics or performance cookies to profile or measure visitor behaviour. If analytics are introduced later, this notice will be updated and any required consent or preference controls will be implemented.
6. Advertising and social-media tracking
Finbus does not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or social-media tracking scripts on this website.
7. Third-party content and links
Some pages may contain links to third-party websites or publications. Following a link takes you to a different website. That third party may use its own cookies or tracking technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies.
8. Managing cookies and similar technologies
You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also be able to clear local storage or similar site data through your browser. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect website functionality or security.
If non-essential cookies are added in future, Finbus will provide an appropriate preference mechanism so that consent can be given, refused or withdrawn as required by law.
9. Changes to this notice
We will update this Cookie Notice if the website begins using analytics, advertising, embedded third-party services or other technologies that materially change how cookies or similar identifiers are used.
